Thursday 8th March 2018 sees the return of the Big Bang at Butlin’s, Bognor Regis – an explosive close to Coastal STEMfest 2018.

Coastal STEMfest, as part of a wider initiative, is an invigorating series of workshops and events that aim to enthuse the scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians of the future.

Last year saw over 750 students and 25 local businesses attend, with businesses providing insightful activities, to showcase current career options and those of the future.

Businesses wanting to know more about how they can get involved can come along to an informal, no obligation Coffee and Tour Event.  Attendees will be able to see the event in full swing with a live STEM show and the chance to chat to over 20 local companies as they inspire hundreds of young people.

The role business plays in the event is crucial.  The event is aimed at stage 3 and 4 students to continue studying STEM subjects, discover career opportunities and identify the steps needed to reach their aspirations.  Businesses attending provide an interactive activity with guidance from their employees on aspects of their job role and the business itself.
