Food restaurant was the stylish venue for the Adur & Worthing Business Awards Celebratory Dinner.
Sponsors and winners were treated to a three-course meal as a way of recognising their contribution to the local business community and thanking them for their input and support.
The night started with an opportunity for guests to network before taking their seats for a congratulatory speech by Martin Randall, Director for the Economy, Adur & Worthing Councils.
Now organised under the umbrella of the Adur & Worthing Business Partnership (AWBP) as a not-for-profit organisation, the Adur & Worthing Business Awards are organised by a committee of successful local business people. These include Electronic Temperature Instruments, JSPC Computer Services, Seagull Travel, Worthing & Adur Chamber of Commerce and Adur & Worthing Council. Also in attendance were local councillors, Brian Boggis, Adur Executive Member for Regeneration and Kevin Jenkins, Worthing Borough Council’s Executive Member for Regeneration.
In its tenth year, the awards have become the feature business event across the area showcasing a thriving business community. Following a sell-out event, sponsors have been queuing up to be involved for the 2018 awards, which will take place on Friday 16th November 2018. Businesses interested in nominating themselves can attend the official launch event, which will take place at The Hummingbird Restaurant, Shoreham Airport on 6th June 2018.
Peter Webb, Managing Director of ETI, the current Headline Sponsor said “It is my privilege to once again be involved with the Adur & Worthing Business Awards. They get bigger and better each year and much of this is down to the businesses and individuals who help to make Adur & Worthing’s economy a force to be reckoned with. 2018 will be no exception and I am confident that they will continue to grow in prestige.”
