Whether you want to start your career, re-train or return to work, Worthing’s Apprenticeship Fair on 4th July 2018 might be a good place to start.

Companies and organisations with a local or international profile and also apprenticeship providers will be there to talk to about the options.

Sectors such as health and social care, manufacturing, IT, leisure and the Armed Forces will all be represented, and careers advisors can explain the apprenticeship options within a particular field and career structure. Workplace apprenticeships are available through local colleges, universities and private training providers.

Organised by West Sussex County Council and Adur & Worthing Business Partnership, the event is hosted by GB MET and is open to both those thinking of doing an apprenticeship and companies thinking of offering one.

Councillor Kevin Jenkins, Worthing Borough Council’s Executive Member for Regeneration, said:

“Apprenticeships are an increasingly valuable option for all types of employer and employee and the Fair is an excellent opportunity to see what is on offer in our community.”

Councillor Brian Boggis, Adur District Council’s Executive Member for Regeneration, said:

“This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is thinking of taking the apprenticeship route, either an an employee or an employer. We fully support all efforts to build on local opportunities in our community.”

The fair takes place at GB MET (formerly Northbrook College) Broadwater Campus, Worthing, BN14 8HJ on Wednesday 4th July 2018, from 4pm to 7pm.
